Description
For , Round 1; VS
It's probably technically cheating, in terms of black-and-white compositions, to only use black on the characters/items you want your audience to focus on (re: the last two panels), but whatever. It'll be harder to get away with later, since the casino staff all wear black vests.
And I realize the motion lines in the first three panels are making an [expletive]load of tangents with each other, but what can I say, I was listening to the audiobook of Terry Pratchett's Going Postal, so I only had enough unoccupied brain space left to pay attention to tangents that were happening within each panel, as opposed to across panel borders. Though I'll try harder to pay closer attention next time.
By the way, this is the first of at least two staggeringly brilliant deductions from Heroina that don't seem so staggeringly brilliant because they're things that the audience has already known since the beginning.

I'm reading this to catch up, and iTunes suddenly started playing James Bond. I cannot think of a more perfect match. Looking forward to reading more1
