Emet Punch

My entry for the Temple of Cartoon Mojo “Warrior U” sketch challenge, featuring my all-time favorite “Warrior U” character, Emet! The process for this wound up being really fun—I did the lineart and text first, then painted a wash of yellow gouache over the whole paper (making sure it would smudge with the ink and pencil lines), and finally did the colors in watercolor so it would blend and mix with the yellow and look aged and messy and cool and stuff.

Don’t ask about the slogan. It just popped into my head and I knew I had to use it…
